What does aerial footage communicate in property marketing?

Villas, residential developments, land and commercial buildings call for different visual approaches. A villa film may emphasise the relationship between the garden, facade and surroundings, while a land film places greater importance on the site's relationship to neighbouring buildings. Drone footage should be planned around the information the listing needs to communicate. The aim is not simply an impressive establishing shot, but a clear understanding of where the property is and what surrounds it.

Aerial footage does not replace interior filming. A story that begins outside and continues through the entrance, shared spaces and living areas creates a more complete presentation. A sales or rental video follows a sequence that answers the viewer's questions.

The filming address, property type, current use of the space and intended publishing platforms are shared in advance. Preparing gardens, terraces and interiors, and considering how vehicles and personal belongings affect the frame, helps make efficient use of filming time. Drone filming feasibility is established by assessing the location, weather, flight area and required permissions. Providing a quote does not mean a drone flight is possible at every location. Where flying is unsuitable, an alternative visual approach can be planned using ground-level footage.

Area measurements, location details and other listing data come from information approved by the client; footage does not replace a technical survey or an official boundary document.
